Strictly necessary storage
These are required for the site to work and cannot be disabled. All of them are browser localStorage entries rather than cookies, which means they are never attached to a network request and never reach a server:

localStorage (not cookies)
We use localStorage — stored entirely in your browser, never sent to any server — for:
- Your pinned and recently used tools
- Tool output history
- Calculator FAB history
- Language preference
- Feature flag overrides
- Saved HTTP client collections, including any request URLs, headers and bodies you save
- Roadmap items you marked as wanted
You can clear this at any time via your browser's developer tools → Application → Local Storage.
How to manage cookies
You can control cookies via:
- Our cookie banner — shown on first visit; toggle analytics on/off.
- Your browser settings — all browsers allow you to block or delete cookies.
- Google Analytics opt-out — install the GA opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising
The site carries Google AdSense display units on tool pages, blog posts and glossary entries. Nothing related to advertising loads until you accept cookies: the AdSense script itself is only injected after consent, so on a first visit — or if you decline — no ad request is made and no advertising cookie is set.
Once loaded, Google may set cookies to measure ad performance and limit repeat impressions. You can review and change what Google personalizes at My Ad Center, and see how Google uses this data in its partner-sites policy. We do not run retargeting campaigns and we never send your tool input anywhere — every tool runs in your browser.
